Amcor PET Packaging is currently seeking a Production Manager for their Fort Worth facility.
The PM reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan facility operations. Plans production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met and prepares operational schedules to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications. Reviews production reports and works with Engineering, Quality and Materials Managers to resolve operational, manufacturing, and delivery problems. This organized professional coaches shift supervisors to higher levels of performance and develops and/or revises standard operating and working practices. Conducts daily meetings with the shift supervisors and actively works to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, scrap, MUV, labor productivity and unscheduled downtime goals are met. Will handle some safety performance and training as well as foster company morale. Writes and provides monthly activity reports and oversees proper utilization of company assets operating plant within budgetary limits. Recommends capital improvements as necessary.
